Choosing the Right Materials: Prioritize bendable "rotating grilles"
Ordinary grilles cannot be bent, and forcing them will result in breakage or bulging. To achieve a smooth curve, you must use rotating grilles specifically designed for curved surfaces. These products typically have the following characteristics:

Single lengths up to 3 meters, reducing the number of joints
Using flexible base materials or special grooving processes to support inner/outer arc shapes
Equipped with male and female groove structures for smooth insertion, allowing for seamless fitting to curved surfaces without additional fasteners
Tip: If your project involves column cladding or wavy walls, it is recommended to communicate the radius of curvature with the manufacturer in advance to confirm that the minimum bending radius is compatible.

 

Precise Measurement and Pre-layout to Avoid On-site Rework
When installing on curved structures, dimensional errors are amplified, so it is essential to "simulate first, then construct":

2. Curved Wall Installation

Use rubber pads + wood glue for auxiliary fixing to prevent loosening due to vibration and protect the base layer.
3. Flush Installation with Wood Veneer (Recessed)
If you want the panels to be flush with the surrounding wood veneer, you need to reserve depth during the base layer treatment:

During base layer preparation, the base layer in the panel area should be 18mm lower than the wood veneer (corresponding to the standard panel thickness).
After installation, the overall finished surface will be flush, resulting in a more unified and high-end look.

Promptly Clean Up Glue Stains: Uncleaned wood glue or structural adhesive overflow will seriously affect the aesthetics; it is recommended to wipe as you install.
Lighting Enhancement: Linear LED strip lights can be embedded behind the panels to create a floating effect and layered lighting.
Color Consistency: Choose a color that coordinates with the main color scheme of the space; hundreds of colors are available to avoid color difference issues.
